XI plus AFRL Space Plug and Play Avionics (SPA) workshop II
The 2010 AMAPS conference
is being held at the Tahoe Ridge Resort at Lake Tahoe, NV June 8-10. The
AFRL SPA workshop is being held after AMAPS X on June 11` 2010. This event
is sponsored by OptiComp Corp,
the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory.
The conference is
intended to discuss the development of innovative space capabilities
through application and insertion of advanced microelectronic and photonic technologies.
And, to discuss the increase of performance and capabilities for future
space systems while reducing size, weight, power and cost to the platform.
This conference
specifically targets R&D in advanced microelectronic and photonic
technologies/applications for space-based assets in order to transition
SBIR/STTR technologies that provide innovative solutions to technological
problems identified within U.S. Air Force space programs.
One of the unique
features of this conference format is the dissemination of knowledge among
those organizations responsible for satellite development by the
coordination and scheduling of review meetings addressing those technical
requirements generated through SBIR Program Offices.
AMAPS X is an ITAR restricted conference and
registration is restricted to U.S. Citizens who are U.S. government
employees or contractors only.
If registering the day of the conference, please provide proof of U.S.
Citizenship status with a valid U.S. passport, or birth certificate.
